Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is all set to roll out an exciting new initiative for residents and visitors alike—the On & Off Touristic Bus! Starting this September 2024, this new bus service aims to showcase Dubai’s top attractions in a convenient, scenic, and affordable way.
The On & Off Touristic Bus is designed for everyone: from residents seeking to rediscover their city to tourists eager to explore Dubai’s rich cultural and architectural heritage. With a fare of AED 35, valid for an entire day, passengers can hop on and off as they please at nine stops across some of Dubai’s most captivating landmarks.
A Unique, Integrated Experience
RTA’s Public Transport Agency CEO, Ahmed Bahrozyan, emphasized the importance of supporting Dubai’s booming tourism sector. This new service integrates seamlessly with Dubai’s existing public transport system, connecting with metro, marine transport, and buses, particularly at Al Ghubaiba station. With this connectivity, travelers will find it easier than ever to explore all Dubai has to offer.
Route Highlights: Explore Dubai in Two Hours
Beginning at Dubai Mall, the On & Off Touristic Bus will guide passengers through some of Dubai’s most famous sites, including:
- Dubai Frame: Capture panoramic views of old and new Dubai.
- Heritage Village: Dive into the city’s historical roots.
- Museum of the Future: Experience innovation in real-time.
- Gold Souk: Explore the vibrant gold market.
- La Mer Beach, Jumeirah Mosque, City Walk, and more.
Operating daily from 10 AM to 10 PM with a 60-minute frequency, each journey offers two hours of sightseeing across eight unique attractions and nine stops, allowing passengers to experience the vibrancy of Dubai at their own pace.
